Hutt Central closure, High St bus stops closed, expect delays during detour for traffic light upgrade (Mon 2 March - Dec 2026)

Routes 110, 120, 145, 149, N22 and School Bus 951 will detour via Cornwall Street. High Street stops 8117 (outside Nissan) and 9117 (outside Burger King) near Melling Link will be closed for the duration of the upgrade. Temporary stops are located on Cornwall Street. See link for more information.

Road reopens Monday 16 March: Queen Street at Riddiford Gardens one way closure. Expect delays as buses detour; stop 9113 at City Fitness closed

Routes 83,110, 145,150, 852, 853, 854, N22, N66, N88 towards Queensgate detour via High Street and Laings Road. Stop 9113 (City Fitness) closed. Use stop 9114 Central City Plaza, 240m away at 51 Queens Drive. Buses towards Ewen Bridge do not detour. Works is scheduled for 3 - 4 weeks.

Queens Drive reopens Monday 16 March: R130 detours – missing two Queens Drive bus stops, 9113 (City Fitness) and 9114 (btwn Laings & Margaret St)

Routes 130 toward Naenae detour via Myrtle St/Knights Rd, stopping at Queens Dr stop 9115 (Queensgate Stop A – Cash Converters). Passengers who use stops 9113 (City Fitness) or 9114 (Queens Dr between Laings/Margaret St) can use stop 9115 instead. R130 travelling towards Petone will not detour.
