Hutt Central closure, High St bus stops closed, expect delays during detour for traffic light upgrade (Mon 2 March - Dec 2026)

Routes 110, 120, 145, 149, N22 and School Bus 951 will detour via Cornwall Street. High Street stops 8117 (outside Nissan) and 9117 (outside Burger King) near Melling Link will be closed for the duration of the upgrade. Temporary stops are located on Cornwall Street. See link for more information.

Thorndon Quay/Hutt Rd stops closed to Route 83 (to Wellington Station), overnight 9pm–5am, Sun 23–Thurs 26 & Sun 29 Mar–Thurs 1 Apr

Route 83 buses to Wellington Station miss all Hutt Rd and Thorndon Quay stops and detour via SH2, SH1 and the Murphy St off ramp. Route 83 towards Petone is not affected and does not detour. Works is weather related and dates do change.
