Ngauranga: Thorndon Quay and Hutt Road detour and bus stop closures, route 83, Tuesday 20 January, 9pm - 4:30am

Due to roadworks, route 83 will detour via Wellington Urban motorway northbound to Petone. Passengers are advised to use routes 1, 24, 25, 52 for bus stops along Thorndon Quay and Hutt Road.

Johnsonville: Ngauranga Gorge closure, bus detour and bus stop closures, Monday 19 January, 10pm - 4:30pm

Due to roadworks, route 1 will detour away from Ngauranga Gorge southbound to Wellington. Bus stop 3252 Johnsonville Road (near 147) will be closed and passengers are advised to use bus stop 3081 Johnsonville - Stop B.

From Sunday 25 January Route 29 and Route 39 will no longer travel down Derwent Street.

This will mean that routes 29 and 39 will not stop outside the Island Bay New World on Medway Street. Customers accessing the Island Bay shops from these routes can transfer to the route 1 bus or walk from the nearest bus stop on The Parade. For more information and maps visit the link below.

Possible Bus Delays due to Marsden Ave and Ewen Bridge slip lane works - from 9am Wed 21 Jan to Sunday 8 Feb.

All stops remain open. R83 and R110 buses travelling towards Ewen Bridge will detour from Victoria St via Marsden St, Bridge St, Railway Ave. As the work site progresses, the detour may change slightly, we will keep you informed of any updates.
