From Sunday 25 January Route 29 and Route 39 will no longer travel down Derwent Street.
This will mean that routes 29 and 39 will not stop outside the Island Bay New World on Medway Street. Customers accessing the Island Bay shops from these routes can transfer to the route 1 bus or walk from the nearest bus stop on The Parade. For more information and maps visit the link below.

Possible delays while buses detour for the Ewen Bridge slip‑lane closure, 9am Mon 26 Jan – approx. 8 Mar (no work on weekends)
All stops remain open. R83, R110 and School 854 buses travelling towards Ewen Bridge will detour from Victoria St via Marsden St, Bridge St, Railway Ave. As the work site progresses, the detour may change slightly. We will keep you updated.
